Shrinking the Malaria Map Publications Launch
The MEG recently released two major new publications on malaria: Shrinking the Malaria Map: A Prospectus on Malaria Elimination and its companion Shrinking the Malaria Map: A Guide on Malaria Elimination for Policy Makers. The Prospectus provides guidance for those working on the front lines of malaria control and elimination regarding the serious operational, technical and financial considerations of malaria elimination. The Guide is a high-level digest of the Prospectus, intended for leaders and policy makers. The announcement was made on April 24 by Sir Richard Feachem at a press conference and panel discussion on malaria elimination in Geneva, Switzerland, co-sponsored with the global Roll Back Malaria (RBM) Partnership Secretariat as part of World Malaria Day 2009 celebrations.
Selected document launch media coverage, including press releases, news articles, and other media.
